Founder Annie Schoonover started her career on Madison Avenue working on Honey Nut Cheerios (“It’s a honey of an O!”), the incredibly successful flanker brand/line extension to Cheerios. Rising through the ranks to become an account supervisor, she gained real world advertising experience on many blue-chip agency accounts such as General Mills, Johnson & Johnson, and Hanes brands.
Leaving Madison Avenue for the Far East, Annie then went on to found her own design company in Hong Kong and imported her collections to over 2,500 specialty retailers such as Bloomingdale’s, Bergdorf Goodmans, Neiman Marcus and Tuesday Morning. After selling her company, she and her family now live in the “Southern part of heaven,” Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
In her spare time, Annie volunteers for the Chapel Hill Service League and the Family Violence Prevention Center.
